Traders of Noida’s Sector 18 market, which is among the highest revenue earning markets in the state of Uttar Pradesh, appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday to waive off their fixed electricity charges for one year in view of the loss caused by the global pandemic of Coronavirus. . Sector 18 market association, in a letter to Adityanath, cited such help extended by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to traders in Gujarat.
Bazar Sangh President Sushil Kumar Jain said, “We are extending the electricity bills of commercial establishments, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and water parks affected by the Coronavirus at Sector 18 Market Association, Noida for one year, i.e. from April 1, 2021, to March 31. Request to waive the fixed fee by 2022.
