In Karnataka, the second-weekend curfew was imposed on Saturday and Sunday to curb Kovid-19, resulting in the silence in Bengaluru and most other parts of the state on Sunday. Business establishments and restaurants remained closed. Vehicles also remained off the roads. The administration had allowed people to buy essential items like milk, groceries, vegetables between 6 am and 10 am. Except for this, most of the time people stayed in homes.

To prevent unnecessary movement of people, various flyovers and roads were erected. Police started imposing restrictions after 10 am and people still roaming the streets were questioned. The people who gave reasonable reasons were let go and people wandering around for no reason were punished and their vehicles confiscated. Similar views were seen in other parts of the state.
