“We are leaving China”, Amid growing Opposition from China, TikTok finds a way to save the business

TikTok is in the news a lot these days, but for the wrong reasons. TikTok has faced particular criticism in India, from promoting voyeur content to promoting terrorism, obscenity, and even various forms of crime.

Apart from this, the Chinese angle of TikTok is also giving more trouble for him. Now, if the media believes, the TikTok app is ready to make all efforts to reduce the influence of China. Reuters reports that

Nite Dand, the company that owns TikTok, is about to leave China soon after covering its bag.

Actually, ByteDance has taken this decision so that when countries around the world take action against China after recovering from the Wuhan virus, the company will not be affected. That is why Bite Dance has been working day and night to remove its non-Chinese industries from China. In this context, a few weeks ago, Disney has not only talked to the company’s streaming head Kevin Mayer but also invited him to handle some of the acts of Bite Dance.

Now Bite Dance has taken this decision late, but right. His TikTok app has been accused of working for China, handing over user data to Chinese government agencies in secret. This is not only a violation of the privacy of users but also a great threat to the national security of many countries.

In addition, the Chinese influence on tick talk is to the extent that the Chinese government can order what content it can run, and what it cannot. The Guardian, in one of its reports, highlights how China has the ability to remove any content on TikTok, be it anti-China at any level.

Not only this, but TikTok has also created a lot of uproar in India as well. Be it abusing girls, supporting terrorism, or promoting religious bigotry, you just keep on speaking and everything will be found on TikTok.

For these reasons, TikTok was banned for some time by the Madras High Court, because child pornography was being promoted on this platform.

At a time when the Madras High Court decided to lift the ban after some time, the Ticketcock’s managers promised in a written statement that they would not accept such content at all. But nothing of this sort happened, and even today, on TikTok, the content of the content is live-streamed in India.

TikTok has become the cheapest and viral medium to spread vulgar, clumsy, and such misleading news anyway. Ironically, any video aired on TikTok reaches millions of people in a very short time. In such a situation, if the makers of squat content are not banned, then the situation can get worse. Therefore, Byte Dance has taken an important step in the right direction by moving its operations from China.
