Corona is Punishment for Wearing Short Clothes by Pakistani Women Says Maulana in the Presence of PM Imran

Islamabad : After the insistence of fundamentalist ulema, mosques have been opened in Pakistan (Coronavirus) despite increasing cases of Coronavirus. Although Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistan are not just relieved by this, now one of them has blamed women for spreading corona infection (Covid-19). Pakistan’s famous fundamentalist Maulana Tariq Jameel has claimed that the world is suffering punishment for the wrongdoings of women and the corona virus is the result of that. The most surprising thing is that during this time Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was also present.

Radical Maulana Tariq Jameel said in his argument of the realized telethon fundraising event on Saturday that due to the wearing of women’s short clothes, there has been a threat of corona virus. He said that this is a punishment for the evil deeds of women, which the entire community has to suffer. Let me tell you that Imran Khana was also present in the same program live when Tariq Jameel was spewing this poison.

‘I do not Apologize’

Jamil also said in this program that he has been openly saying that everyone is getting punished for wearing short clothes of women and Corona virus is also one of them. Jamil further said that some TV channels ran the false news that I had apologized for what I said. I stand by what I say, I do not apologize. Even if something like an apology came out of my mouth, it must have been just a hasty mistake.

Pakistan Human Rights Commission condemned

This statement of Maulana Jamil has been condemned by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) and has asked him to apologize. The Human Rights Commission issued a statement saying- We appeal to Maulana Tariq Jameel to withdraw this indecent remark against women as soon as possible. Such comments cannot be accepted and that too when they are broadcast live on national television. This can increase crime against women in the society. The Human Rights Commission said that it is very sad to have such daughters broadcast on TV channels and not even stand on the question.
