New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a lookout notice against the Congress leader and former finance minister. P Chidambaram’s plea seeking interim bail has not been listed before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal has failed to mention the plea of ​​P Chidambaram for immediate list before Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.

The 5-judges constitution bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi is busy in day-to-day hearings in the Ayodhya demolition case. For this reason, this petition could not be heard. Earlier, Supreme Court judge, Justice NV Ramana, passed the petition of P Chidambaram to be presented before the Chief Justice of India. P Chidambaram’s plea seeking interim bail.

Advocates of former finance minister P. Chidambaram had reached the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court order in the INX Media case. The Delhi High Court quashed Chidambaram’s anticipatory bail plea. The Special Leave Petition (SLP), counsel for the former finance minister accused in the INX Media case, was filed in the apex court. In this petition, interim relief was sought against the order of the Delhi High Court. Senior lawyers Kapil Sibal, Salman Khurshid and Vivek Tankha were present inside the court regarding this petition in the Supreme Court.

The entire CBI team went to his house to arrest former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram empty-handed. On the disappearance of former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram from his house, his lawyer Arshdeep Singh Khurana came to the fore and gave clarification in this matter. He had requested the CBI team not to take any concrete action against my client till the process of trial in this case is over.
