New Delhi: The top infectious disease specialist of the US government has issued a warning on Sunday that millions of American citizens will be infected with the Corona virus and one to two lakh people will be killed in this epidemic. Anthony Fokey, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said in an interview to CNN that there will definitely be ‘tens of millions’ cases of Covid-19 infection in the US and more than one lakh deaths. We will see tens of millions of cases of infection. “According to the Johns Hopkins Corona Virus Resource Center, 1,24,763 people have been infected with Corona virus in the US and 2,612 have died. Globally 6,84,652 people are infected with this virus and more than 32,000 people have died from the disease.
Trump decided late Saturday night that he would not enforce the bandh in New York and its neighboring states. He said that it is not needed and travel consulting will work. According to Johns Hopkins University data, the United States has the highest 1,24,000 people with corona virus infection worldwide.
