Tableau of Maharashtra and West Bengal will not be seen in 26 January parade, Sanjay Raut raised questions

New Delhi: The tableau of Maharashtra and West Bengal will not be seen in this time’s Republic Day Parade. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has also questioned this. Raut said that “Is there any political conspiracy behind not seeing tableaux of Maharashtra and West Bengal on Republic Day? We are fierce national devotees, is it our crime? Actually, let us tell you that only 22 of the 56 proposals of the tableaux are selected There are 16 proposals from states and union territories and six from the central ministries.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the ministry had received 32 proposals of tableaux from states and union territories and 24 proposals from central ministries and departments. “After five meetings, 16 proposals from States / UTs and six proposals from Ministries / Departments have been finalized for the Republic Day Parade 2020.” According to the statement, West Bengal said. The proposal was rejected by the expert committee after being tested in its two rounds of meetings.

Not only this, the Central Government has rejected the proposal of Bihar government tableau based on ‘Jal Jeevan Hariyali Mission’ in the Republic Day Parade. The rejection of the proposal means that Bihar will not be represented in the grand Republic Day parade at Rajpath in the national capital. Sources at the Bihar Information Center in Delhi confirmed the proposal for the tableau of Bihar to be rejected. He said that the proposal was not approved on the ground that it could not meet the standards required for the selection of tableaux in the states.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the ‘Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Mission’ in October 2019 to promote green area and ground water level in the state. Bihar had proposed tableaux based on this theme. The opposition RJD, while rejecting the proposal of the tableau, targeted the NDA government at the center and accused him of “insulting” the people of Bihar. RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said, “He (the NDA government at the Center) rejected the demand for special status for Bihar and now also rejected the proposal to demonstrate his plan through tableaux on Republic Day.” This is the truth of the BJP’s ‘double engine’ government beating the drummer. ”
