BJP will not be able to form Government in Maharashtra without Majority: Sharad Pawar

New Delhi: Political infighting has continued since the formation of the BJP government in Maharashtra. The Supreme Court will give its verdict tomorrow. NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that it is a fact that the BJP did not have a majority and that is why he did not form the government, he also initially wrote to the governor that he did not have a majority and therefore would not form the government.

On the question of removing Ajit Pawar from the party, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that it is not something for which a person takes a decision, then the party will have to take a decision when the matter comes before him.

Let us tell you that on Saturday morning, Devendra Fadnavis took the oath of Chief Minister in Maharashtra and everyone along with him NCP leader Ajit Pawar took the oath of Deputy Chief Minister. Since then, there was a stir in the political corridors.

Earlier, the impact of political turmoil in Maharashtra was also seen on Parliament on Monday. Leaders of Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena chanted a hug here to form the government in Maharashtra. In the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that I want to ask questions in the House but when democracy has been killed in Maharashtra, there is no point in asking it.

Today the hearing on the petition of Shiv Sena, NCP-Congress is going on in the Supreme Court regarding the formation of government in Maharashtra. Kapil Sibal from Shiv Sena, Abhishek Manu Singhvi from NCP-Congress, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta from Center and Mukul Rohatgi from Maharashtra BJP Devendra Fadnavis are present in the court room.
