There is a big news for people living in Noida and Ghaziabad. From today (03 October) to 29 October, the supply of Ganga water will be interrupted. According to the information, cleaning work will be done in Ganga Canal for one month. Due to this, the supply of Ganga water will be stopped for about 25 days.

During this period, the Municipal Corporation and the Noida and Ghaziabad Development Authority will complete the supply of tube wells, rainwells and tubewells in their respective areas. In fact, the Irrigation Department at the same time every year i.e. after the rainy season, cleans the Ganga Canal in the month of October. During this time, the silt flowing through the mountains in the canal is cleaned.

Noida and Ghaziabad fall in the top 5 of the most salt water cities in the country with respect to ground water. There are more than 2000 TDS (Total Dissolve Sol) water in many areas in Noida. While water up to 500 TDS is good for our body. Falling from water with more than 1000 TDS can cause problems like skin problem.
