SP leader Passes Sexist Remark at Jaya Prada, Says ‘People in Rampur will Have Colourful Evenings’

Samajwadi Party Sambhal district chairman Firoz Khan demonstrated his mental illness by issuing an extremely outrageous remark against newly-incorporated BJP member veteran actor-turned-politician Jaya Prada.

Firoz Khan, a close associate of controversial SP leader Azam Khan, said in a very shameful comment that the people of Rampur, the constituency that Jaya Prada would represent against Azam Khan, will take advantage of this unique opportunity.

In a lewd and sexist comment, Khan said that Jaya Prada would decorate the nights of the people of Rampur. He said residents of the district would be kept entertained and that their nights would be colorful, since Jaya Prada would visit Rampur frequently to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

Firoz Khan, who continues to deliver garbage, said that the people of Sambhal, an adjoining district, would also like to spend their maximum time in Rampur since Jaya Prada would be present there.

Firoz Khan added that the people of Rampur are prudent enough to vote for the Samajwadi party, but they are also smart enough to make the most of this opportunity sent by God.

His bold words were but a cheap sample of his trivial thinking and the ideologies of his party. He also insulted Jaya Prada by saying that the people of Rampur would enjoy cheap emotions when Jaya Prada visits his constituency and will sing songs like “mere pairon mein ghungroo bandhado aur Phir meri chaal dekhlo” in reference to a Hindi song from the film Sunghursh ( 1968). ).

Meanwhile, SP leader Azam Khan, who represents the Rampur constituency party, has also shared a bitter relationship with Jaya Prada in the past. In fact, before Jaya Prada had revealed that Azam Khan had attempted an acid attack on her. He had also stated that due to Khan, he had once perceived a threat to his life and was under severe trauma.

Recently, Jaya Prada in a veiled attack said that the character of Allauddin Khilji reminded him of Azam Khan, while the latter had insulted her with a similar sexist comment that called her nachneganne wali (singer dancer).

It is expected that the war of words between the two candidates will only intensify in the coming days, while Jaya Prada and Azam Khan, continuing their 10-year fight, are ready to fight in Rampur again.

Ironically, it was Azam Khan who initially took Jaya Prada to the party of the Samajwadi Party and helped her win in the parliamentary constituency of Rampur. Jaya Prada had won the election of Lok Sabha of Rampur in 2004 and 2009.

However, relations soured when Jaya Prada sided with the former secretary-general of the Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh. Things worsened to such an extent that the supporters of Azam Khan campaigned openly against him during the Lok Sabha elections in 2009.

Azam Khan will compete for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections, while Jaya Prada has won the Rampur seat twice before this.
