Team India created the story on Monday by winning a series of Down Under tests for the first time in history. No wonder then that the scenes in the Sydney Cricket Ground Indian dressing room were spectacular.
India played dominant cricket in the series of four Tests, claiming honors with a 2-1 triumph and almost making it 3-1 in Sydney. While the game of the last day in SCG may have been destroyed, it can not be denied that the Indian Team seemed ready for a victory here as well. While the gods of the stubborn rain could have ensured that there was no action on the field, the celebrations within the clubhouse were not stopped once the game was officially canceled.

Captain Virat Kohli led the celebrations, making sure that he embraces all members of the tour side, including members of the support staff. Teammates Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul and others were seen hitting the table with absolute joy at having achieved what many thought was an impossible task. Not disputing keeping the party restricted to the locker room, the players soon headed to the field to recognize the fans who had defied the weather. They took a turn, dancing and cheering all the way.
