There is a big news for people living in Noida and Ghaziabad. From today (03 October) to 29 October, the supply of Ganga water will be interrupted. According to the information, cleaning work will be done in Ganga Canal for one month. Due to this, the supply of Ganga water will be stopped for about 25 days.
During this period, the Municipal Corporation and the Noida and Ghaziabad Development Authority will complete the supply of tube wells, rainwells and tubewells in their respective areas. In fact, the Irrigation Department at the same time every year i.e. after the rainy season, cleans the Ganga Canal in the month of October. During this time, the silt flowing through the mountains in the canal is cleaned.
