Uttar Pradesh becomes the choice of American MNC, Microsoft Pepsico including 40 MNC to invest 17000 Crore in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow. The industrial climate of Uttar Pradesh is changing rapidly. The world’s leading companies are investing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. America’s multinational companies are at the forefront of this race. Due to the investor-friendly policies of the state, more than 40 foreign companies including American companies have proposed to invest about Rs 17,000 crore. Of these, US multinational companies Microsoft, PepsiCo, and MAC Software have taken land from the state government to set up their units.

Microsoft and MAQ Software will set up their units in Noida, while PepsiCo has started construction of their factories in Mathura. These three companies of America will provide permanent employment to 7500 people by investing Rs 2866 crore. Apart from these US companies, several other large US investors belonging to the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum are keen to invest in the state. These American investors are in talks to invest here through the US Ambassador to India. The government has also been approached by American investors associated with the forum to invest.

A few days ago, during a video conferencing interaction with entrepreneurs associated with the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, American companies showed interest in investing in medical equipment, digital payments and other areas. According to source, Adobe, Amazon, American Tower Corporation of America, Apple, Caterpillar, Delphi, Cisco, Deloitte, Emerson, Ernst & Young, Google, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan & Company, Lockheed Martin, Marriott International, MasterCard, Big companies like Mondelez International, Carlyle Group are willing to invest in the country and the state. Among them, companies like Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, Delphi New Holland, Global Logic, Excel, PepsiCo, Synopsis, and Cargill are already operating in India.

Now Microsoft, MACQ Software Noida, and PepsiCo have stepped up to set up their units in UP. Since the arrival of these companies in the state, many other companies of America have started showing speed to set up their units in UP. Soon the government will reveal the names of many other American companies willing to invest in the state, the world’s most renowned software company Microsoft will build the country’s largest center in Noida. This company will give employment to more than 3500 people.

Noida Authority has allotted 60 thousand square meters of land to the company in the past. Till now Microsoft has had the largest office in Gachi Baoli, Hyderabad. The company has claimed before the authority that it will be started here before the stipulated time i.e. five years so that people living in NCR can get the benefit of it. Noida Authority has allotted land to Microsoft Sector-145. Similarly, the world’s leading IT-ITES company MAQ India Private Limited has been given a total plot of 16350 square meters in Sector-145 of Noida. This company will set up a big IT firm here. About Rs, 252 crores will be invested in this project and about 2500 people will get employment.

Multinational food and beverage company PepsiCo is setting up a potato chips factory in Kosikalan, Mathura. Production at PepsiCo’s factory, which is being built with an investment of about Rs 814 crore, is likely to start between 2021. In this project, about fifteen hundred people will get employment directly and indirectly. The raw material (potato) for preparing potato chips will be procured from local sources. Local farmers will benefit from this factory. Soon many other American companies will also provide employment to the youth of UP by investing in food processing, medical equipment, automobile, IT and digital payment, and other areas in the state.
