‘Dirty Politics’ of AAP: False Statistics of Vaccination in US-UK Presented to Tarnish the Image of the Country

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday (24 May 2021) presented such vaccine statistics, which would be no exaggeration if it is called adulterated garbage. Despite overwhelming fake and false news spread, Twitter has not yet taken any action on them.

In a video released by the party, AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj claims that 88% of people in the United Kingdom have been vaccinated. Similarly, 84% of people in the US have taken vaccine supplements, whereas only 13% of people in India have been able to get the vaccine.

Actually, these figures released by the Aam Aadmi Party are false. She is spreading this fake news to tarnish the image of the Central Government.

Vaccine statistics in the UK
According to the United Kingdom’s official website, a total of 37,943,681 first doses of the vaccine have been given so far. About 57.49 percent of people have received their first dose of vaccine, given the UK population of 6.6 million.

A total of 22,643,417 doses of the vaccine have been given, indicating that 34.30% of the population has been fully vaccinated. It also shows that 72% of total adults have taken the first dose of vaccine and 43% have taken the second dose.

In addition, vaccination has not been opened to all adults in the UK. Currently, vaccination has not been opened for those under 34 in England, under 25 in Northern Ireland, and under 30 in Scotland. Vaccination has been opened to adults in most areas of Wales. In this way, the 88 percent data presented by the Aam Aadmi Party is pure fantasy.

Vaccine Statistics in America
At least 49.2% of people in the US have taken their first dose of vaccine. At the same time, 49.6% of adults have been fully vaccinated and the figure is 73.9% for those above 65 years of age. That is, a total of 39.2% of the population in the US has been fully vaccinated so far.

As claimed by AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, this figure is far from 84 percent.

Vaccine Statistics in India
A total of 15,29,30,249 people have been given the first dose of the corona vaccine so far in India. The total population of India is 125 crore, which means that at least 12.23% of the population has received the first dose of the vaccine. India has a much larger population than the US and the UK. It is natural that India will take more time to vaccinate its entire population, but the AAP is making a lot of politics around the country by doing cheap politics on the vaccination campaign.
