Computer Shop Owner File Suit on Twitter for $ 500 million

San Francisco: America’s newly elected President Joe Biden’s son Hunter recently appeared in a controversial New York Post report. Owing to his name being included in it, the owner of a computer repair shop here has filed a defamation suit on Twitter for $ 500 million. This October report claimed that a Mac shop located in Delaware was paid for data recovery from Hunter Biden’s laptop. It also allegedly published emails and photos from a copy of the hard drive.

After this article went viral, both Facebook and Twitter had banned its display on its platform and Twitter had pointed to its ban on posting hacked materials as an explanation for this. Now according to a report in The Verge, John Paul Mc Isaac, who owned the Mac Shop, has sued Twitter, saying that Mac has been introduced to the world as a hacker on this social media platform.

Isaac has said that because of Twitter, people now know him as a hacker. He has now demanded $ 500 million from Twitter and publicly returned his statement. Isaac has cited several negative business reviews in his complaint, criticizing Mac based on the fact of the story, but it is still unclear why Twitter is being held responsible for these negative reviews.
