Through this, everyone has access to services, people do not have to pay for health services out of their own pocket and reduces the risk of people getting caught in the morass of poverty due to treatment. The two pillars of the Ayushman Bharat program – Health and Welfare Centers and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana – envisage universal health coverage.
