New York: A man who drinks Rs 500 in the US state of Ohio gave a tip of more than Rs 2 lakh. According to reports, Brendan Ring, owner of a jazz and blues club in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, reported that a man who came to drink beer gave him $ 3,000 (Rs 2.21 lakh) as a tip. He said that the man had taken a beer of $ 7 (517). He told that he was going to close his club that the man came and gave such a big tip in exchange for a beer.
‘Divide the tip among the staff’
Brendan Ring told the media that he owned a club in Knightstown, Cleveland Heights. He said that on Sunday, just before the closure of a customer club came and ordered a Stella Artois beer . Ring said that the person paid and asked to divide the tip among the staff. He said that at first,he was surprised to see a tip of $ 300 for a beer of $ 7, but later when he saw it wearing glasses, it was a tip of $ 3000.

Ring said as he immediately ran away and went after his customer, but he said, “There is no mistake and we will meet again when you open your club again.” Ring said that this tip given by the customer came as a big help to his staff as Nighttown would remain closed for 6 to 8 weeks due to the Kovid-19. He said that earlier the club used to be closed only on Christmas for the whole year and would run for a full 364 days, but the COVID-19has suffered a lot. He said that during this period, the number of customers also fell significantly and the last 2 weeks have been very bad.
