Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has described Osama bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader and mastermind of several major terrorist incidents, as a martyr. PM Imran said in Parliament that America came inside Pakistan and killed Osama bin Laden and martyred. Imran Khan said that Pakistan has suffered humiliation in the war for many years. A video from Imran Khan describing terrorist Osama bin Laden as a martyr has also surfaced.
Let me tell you that a day ago, the US State Department has said that Pakistan remains a safe haven for terrorist groups. The Department has mentioned this in the Country Reports on Terrorism 2019 report. The report said that Pakistan allows terrorist groups targeting India and Afghanistan to operate from their land.

The report listed terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed and their associates and their affiliates among the groups targeting India. The Afghan Taliban and Haqqani networks are mentioned in groups targeting Afghanistan. The report said that Pakistan took some very minor steps to check terrorist financing in 2019 and to curb anti-India terrorist groups after the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama in February of the same year.
