China’s parliament recently approved a new Hong Kong law, under which it would be considered a crime to weaken the power of the central government. This law to be applied to Hong Kong is being opposed all over the world. British PM Boris Johnson has strongly opposed this. Boris Johnson spoke about changing this rule for Hong Kong citizens
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, if China implements its national security law in Hong Kong, then the British government will change its immigration rules and any citizen of Passport-holding Hong Kong will be allowed to come to Britain for 12 months. They will be given immigration rights, including the right to work. This will open the path of citizenship for them.
