13 Paramedics, 26 Nurses, 24 Field staff, 33 doctors Corona positive, Kejriwal on the path of Italy

Delhi is in the headlines once again, and this time also for the wrong reasons. Ever since the Wuhan virus epidemic hit India, Delhi has been in the limelight for its activity and efficiency, and for its inaction. Whether it is the migration of migrant laborers, or the uproar caused by the members of the Tablighi Jamaat, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has been lagging behind in preparing to deal with the Wuhan virus.

Now another crisis has arisen in front of Delhi. On the one hand, many medical staff are on the verge of getting infected with the Wuhan virus, while many staff do not even have proper safety equipment, to which Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has also raised a strong objection.

In a video conference with Delhi high officials, he expressed concern over the current situation and said-

“So far 13 paramedics, 26 nurses, 24 field workers, 33 doctors etc. have been infected with Wuhan virus in Delhi itself. This is very worrying “.

Explain that the Union Health Minister had a video conference with Delhi’s Deputy Governor Anil Baijal, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Surveillance Officers on review of the ground report and the strategy to prevent infection of Covid-19.

Apart from this, Dr. Harshvardhan said, the other thing that is worrying is the number of hotspots. There are 96 to 98 hotspots in Delhi and this number needs to be reduced. However, we know that Delhi has to bear people coming from outside and Markaz also spread the disease, but we need to improve the situation in Delhi fast.

Now come to the main issue. Despite the central government’s clear guidelines, there is no improvement in the situation in Delhi. According to a report by News18, due to lack of safety equipment in Delhi, a lot of doctors are looking uncomfortable. According to him, the Wuhan virus is not impermeable, but how can it win this battle without the necessary items?

Delhi is only a big city, and yet its total cases are more than many states. There is no shortage of facilities here, yet if the situation is getting worse since then, who can be more guilty than the state government for that?

This ruthlessness of the Kejriwal government can be very expensive. Lack of equipment, long working hours and unsatisfactory accommodation for nurses are some of the major reasons why the Delhi government is at the center of criticism these days.

A nursing staff of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital told the media on the condition of anonymity-

“We get PPE kits for a week or a month and we have to distribute among the nurses on that active duty. Since kits are low, only one in 3 nurses can take advantage of this. Everyone else has to work with common equipment “.

The increase in cases also says a lot about the inaction of the Kejriwal government. What would be more shameful that there are so many cases in Delhi, not as many in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

But Kejriwal got free time from his PR campaign, then. Sir had just been claiming that plasma therapy is the panacea for the Wuhan virus, although it did not take long for the central government to reveal these lies.
