India lockdown : Big Statement of Central Government, No Plans to Extend it from April 14

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented a 21-day lockdown in the country to prevent the spread of Corona virus. However some reports suggest that the lockdown deadline may be extended. On which Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba says that the government has no plans to extend the lockdown period of 21 days. He expressed surprise at the reports coming from it.

On Monday, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba said, ‘I am surprised to read such reports. There are no plans to extend the lockdown. ‘ Let us know that the lockdown was announced by the Prime Minister on 24 March, which ends on 14 April. 

The government has asked all states and union territories to implement the lockdown strictly in view of the huge migration of migrant laborers. The government has implemented a number of regulations by local authorities to enforce lockdowns and not to allow migrant laborers to face any hardship during the lockdown period.

The government has constituted 11 strong groups for the planning and implementation of Kovid-19 response activities. These 11 teams will comprise 80 senior civil servants. Last week, Gauba asked the chief secretaries of the state and the administrators of the union territories to find out who had come in contact with more than 1.5 million international travelers from India since January 18. 

What is the situation of India :
Number of people who died of Corona virus in the country has increased to 27. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, the total number of patients in the country is 1047. In this, 95 patients have become healthy. The number of patients currently admitted is 924.
