More than 1000 people have died in Britain so far
In the last 24 hours in Britain, 260 deaths due to corona virus infection have occurred, after which the death toll in the country has increased to more than 1000. This information came from official figures on Saturday. The infection was confirmed on Friday in British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. According to Health Ministry data, till 5 pm on Friday evening, 1019 deaths were recorded while on Thursday the number was 759. 120,776 people have been screened for corona virus in Britain till 9 am Saturday, out of which 17,089 have been confirmed to be infected.
Coronavirus was confirmed in Johnson and his Health Minister Matt Hancock on Friday. His cabinet colleague Alister Jack revealed mild symptoms on Saturday but has not been investigated yet. They said that they are in a separate unit. In a video message released Friday evening from his residence in Downing Street, Johnson said he would continue to lead the government to deal with the epidemic. According to media reports, his pregnant wife Carrie Symonds has gone to live in a house in South London. Britain’s chief medical officer Chris Wheaty also reported being in a separate unit on Friday after experiencing mild symptoms.
