Rome: A 101-year-old veteran has recovered from Coronavirus in Italy’s coastal town of Rimini. A total of 80,589 people have been infected with the disease, while 8,215 people have died. According to the news agency Xinhua, in the Italian news reports, only ‘Mr. P.’ This person referred to as being the oldest person to recover from this disease.
Born in 1919, Mister P was admitted to the Rimini Hospital Ospedale Informi de Rimini a week before he was found corona positive , according to Gloria Lisi, Vice-Mayor of Rimini.
In a television interview on Thursday, Liese said that as the patient began to recover, everyone in the hospital started talking about the same.
“Everyone saw hope for the future of all of us by seeing a person over 100 years old recovering,” said Lisi.
Lisi continued, “His family took him home last night (Wednesday), and left a lesson behind that even at the age of 101, the future is not over.”
Mr P’s story is a positive news in the country amid the lockdown caused by the coronovirus epidemic.
