Prince of Udaipur Bought Mahindra’s Thar 700, Anand Mahindra arrived to deliver the key himself

New Delhi: Anand Mahindra, chairman of the Mahindra Group, who is always in the news for his presence on social media, reached his city this time to give his customer the keys of the car. In fact, Prince Lakshraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur in Rajasthan bought Mahindra Thar 700 when the company’s chairman Anand Mahindra himself reached out to give him the key. Mahindra’s Thar 700 is a limited edition car. The company has produced only 700 units of it.

2.5 liter CDRE 4 Cylinder Engine in the Car

The company launched it as a limited edition in June to celebrate the 70 years of Mahindra. A special badge has been put on each Thar 700, which is signed by Anand Mahindra. The Thar 700, offered for Rs. 9.99 lakh, is somewhat different from other Thar models. The car has a 5 spoke alloy wheel, black finish grille, silver finish on the front bumper and anti lock braking system. The special edition is powered by a 2.5-liter CDRE 4 cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine.

The Thar 700 generates 105 bhp power and 247 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra launched the first vehicle in the country in 1949. The Fender has a 700 Special Edition badge on the right side of the Thar 700. New Cologne Leatherrette seat covers have been installed in the cabin of the car.
