3rd T20I: Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant help India Complete 3-0 whitewash of the West Indies in a 3-Match T20I Series

India won by 7 wickets in the T20 series between India and West Indies on Tuesday. The match was played in Guyana, USA. India had already won the series but after defeating the T-20 series 3-0, India defeated the West Indies on foreign soil after 8 years. India won the toss and decided to bat first. West Indies scored 146 runs in the first innings, which India gained by losing 3 wickets.

India won the toss and invited the West Indies to bat first. The decision to bowl first proved to be quite right for India. Deepak Chahar, playing the first match of his career, created panic on the field. He bowled such that the West Indies batsmen were shocked. The Windies had lost 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs. Then came the Windies’ , Pollard scored 58 runs in 45 balls. It consisted of 6 sixes and 1 fours. Pollard was dismissed by Navdeep Saini. Apart from Pollard, Powell scored 32 off 20 balls. Because of this, the score of West Indies reached 146.

India won with great batting by Pant and Kohli

When India came to bat, there was a target of 147 in front. Rohit Sharma was rested in the last match. Lokesh Rahul was given a chance in his place. KL Rahul scored 20 off 18 balls with the help of 1 six and 2 fours. Shikhar Dhawan flopped. Captain Virat Kohli took the team far ahead. Kohli scored 59 runs in 45 balls. Rishabh Pant was not performed goodin the first two matches and shine in the last match. Pant remained unbeaten, scoring 65 runs in 42 balls. It consists of 4 sixes and 4 fours. India won the match with 5 wickets remaining with 7 wickets.

The Record that was made in the Last Match-

India won the T-20 Series 3–0 for the fourth time. First Australia then Sri Lanka in 2017. They then beat the West Indies 3–0 in 2018 and 2019. With this, India became the first country to defeat the West Indies 6 times in a row.
