On the statement given by US President Donald Trump on Kashmir, there was a furor in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. As the House’s proceedings began, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary tried to surround the government. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should come to the house and tell him about what happened between him and Donald Trump about Kashmir.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that our government will not make any kind of agreement with national pride. Rajnath Singh said that whenever there will be talk of Pakistan on this issue, it will not be talked only about Kashmir, it will be a matter of discussion on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He said that there is no question of Mediation on Kashmir.
Rajnath Singh admitted that in June, Prime Minister Modi and Donald Trump had met but there was no talk of Kashmir issue. He said that at the time Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar was present. He said that Congress is not ready to hear anything from the government, while the External Affairs Minister has already made his statement in this matter.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that after the Shimla accord in the era of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the Kashmir issue became bilateral. No third party can come out on this issue.
