Delhiites Get Rid of Jam, RTR flyover Will Open Soon

In Delhi, many set deadlines have been completed for the completion of the construction of three flyovers, but this year they will be ready by which the drivers will get rid of the traffic jam problem. Six deadline for this project of Delhi Government has passed. The last date has passed 30 June too. The flyover on Rao Tularam Marg (RTR) is almost ready. With the introduction of vehicles on this, it will be easier to reach domestic and international airports from South and East Delhi and Noida.

Traffic in Vasant Vihar, South Campus

An official said that the traffic signal on this flyover has been stopped and the barriers like testing of the road indicator board and security tests have remained the same. This flyover, which is a unique 2.7-kilometer stretch, will be opened soon to the public. This flyover is part of a larger plan, which has been built to free the busy areas of Vasant Vihar, South Campus and Moti Bagh Corridor from jam.

Construction work started in 2014

The second part of this project is to connect South Campus through San Martin Road with underpass in Chanakyapuri. Its big distractions have gone away, so this work is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Construction of RTR flyover and underpass was started in November 2014 and it was to be completed by November 2016.

South Campus underpass hopes to be made by the end of this year

On the other hand, the flyover between Munirka and Subroto Park on the outer ring road is waiting for a traffic test. There will be only partial relief from the onset of traffic on this, because the underpass of South Campus will be made by the end of this year. The official said, “Underpass is a complex construction.” 1.5 km long three-lane underpass is part of the RRR redevelopment project. This will connect Benito Juarez Marg to the San Martin route. Its construction will be completed by December this year.

Three-Way Skywalk will also be made

The official said, “As part of this project, the three-way Skywalk is going to be built, which connects South Campus Metro Station with Benito Juarez Marg and San Martin Road, which will facilitate the students of South Campus.” Another big project is to increase the Barapula flyover to Mayur Vihar Phase-1, which has been fixed by the new deadline to complete this year. This project started in April 2015 and was to be completed in October, 2017.

Noida to Delhi Reach Easy

There are four separate phages in the Signal-Free Barapulla corridor, facilitating traffic between East Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport and saving time from reaching Noida airport. The first phase of the Barapula flyover is between the Sarai Kaale Khan and the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, which was opened to the public before the Commonwealth Games in 2010. The second phase is between the black hole and NIA market. It has been inaugurated last year after its construction has exceeded several deadlines.
