Demonstration Against Shatrughan Sinha,Outside Bihar Congress Headquarters Demanding Cancellation of Candidature

Describing actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha as ‘Dalal’ of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, a group of Congress workers protested against the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat on Monday, demanding cancellation of Shatrughan’s candidature outside party headquarters in Patna.

Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) spokesman HK Verma, however, feared that the workers were referred to by their “opposition parties” in their party headquarters Sadakat Ashram.

The protesters alleged that Sinha was made a Congress candidate at the behest of the RJD and the seat was “sold” by BPCC president Madan Mohan Jha, party leader Shakti Singh Gohil and Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh of Congress Election Campaign Committee.

Earlier, on Sunday, Sinha was surrounded at the Congress headquarters in the Congress when addressing a meeting he had said that when I make friends with someone, I do not change my loyalty.

Sinha is an MP from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat and in 2014 he won the BJP ticket for the second consecutive time.
