Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad Targets Rahul Gandhi over his Assets ‘What is your source of income?’
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad gave a press conference today and raised questions about Rahul Gandhi’s source of income.
Prasad said: “Rahul Ji, what is your source of income? We have seen a Vadra development model. And now, we are seeing a development model of Rahul Gandhi. ” In 2004, it declared that its assets were Rs. 55,38,123. In 2009, it became 2 million years and in 2014, it became 9 million years. Rahul Gandhi, please tell us about this development model. With no apparent source of income of only 55,38,123 rupees in 2004, its assets grew to 9 million years in 2014, “he said.
RS Prasad: Rahul Gandhi is an MP, his source of income is salary, there's no other clear source. In 2004 election affidavit, he declared his wealth to be ₹55,38,123, it came to ₹2 cr in 2009 & to ₹9 cr in 2014; we would like to know how your asset grew to ₹9 cr from ₹55 lakh pic.twitter.com/LY7hV7FONx

Prasad also mentioned Gandhi Parivar’s ties to FTIL, a company that was at the heart of the NSEL scam. “It’s a very serious matter,” he said while saying that FTIL had rented Rahul Gandhi and his sister’s property and that they had received hundreds of thousands of rupees as rent payments without interest.
The Minister of the Union also highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s ties with Unitech. He asked the president of Congress: “Have you bought two Unitech properties? The BJP is asking today if it has bought two Unitech properties. “He also asked:” It is important to talk about Unitech because of its link to the 2G scam. As I said before, sentence 2G was legally wrong and morally improper. But the judge made a comment that is very interesting. He said he was waiting for 7-8 years to get evidence, but it never came. So, is there a link between waiting for evidence and buying property? “
Prasad ended his press conference with a demand for Rahul Gandhi to answer the questions he had raised.
