A whole football game stopped when a cat decided to go running in the field.
During a Premier League game between Everton and Wolves on Saturday, a feline player entered the field and started running.
“A black cat is in the field!” said the announcer, convinced that someone had smuggled “kittens” to the stadium.

The two teams watched the cat run from one side of the field to the other, stopping the game completely. Meanwhile, the crowd applauded when it managed to evade the stadium’s best security efforts to corner it.
Twitter users asked that the cat officially join one of the teams.
