Tips for Freshers

  • Select a target exam early on: The majority of exams have the same syllabus, hence working for one prepares you for another.

  • Work on the official syllabus and previous year’s question papers: This helps you know the actual pattern and difficulty.

  • Always keep track of dates on your own: Exams dates keep changing, and most secondary sites provide “expected” dates that actually turn out to be incorrect. The third-party list itself recommends checking the official notification from the recruitment body.

  • Register yourself through official websites only such as ssc.gov.in, ibps.in, rrb website, upsc.gov.in and PSC websites of the respective state. Don’t pay anybody for guaranteed jobs.

  • Making of the necessary documents in advance i.e. certificate, caste/EWS certificate, domicile proof, photographs and signatures according to requirement.

  • Have a plan B: Competition is stiff, so apply to multiple examinations at various levels.
