Knowing how to check ovulation kit involves understanding how an ovulation predictor test detects the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge in urine. The user generally follows the instructions provided with the kit, collects a urine sample at the recommended time, and applies it to the test device. After the specified waiting period, the result is interpreted according to the control and test indicators. A positive result usually suggests that ovulation may occur within approximately 24 to 36 hours. Testing should begin according to the expected menstrual cycle and may need to continue for several days. Factors such as irregular cycles, certain medicines, and medical conditions can affect results.
