Season 15, officially called Season of Hell's Legacy, arrives on September 15, 2026, with Patch 3.2.1. The opening hours feel different this time. Soul Splinters and the town-wide War Plans Command Table give you useful choices almost immediately, so it is worth planning your first few moves instead of charging into every fight. A small stash of D4 items can also smooth out the early gearing process while you build momentum towards level 70.
Let Jade Epiphany Do the Heavy Lifting
For many players, Kurast Undercity is the cleanest route through the middle levels. The key is Jade Epiphany, a node found through the War Plans Command Table. Once it is active, each Attunement increase creates experience orbs around your character. That changes the whole rhythm of the activity. You are not there to clear every corridor. You are there to gain ranks quickly, collect the orbs yourself, and keep moving. Pets will not pick up these particular rewards, so missing a cluster can slow the run more than you might expect.
Reach level 25 before relying heavily on the Undercity route.
Unlock Jade Epiphany through the War Plans Command Table.
Push towards Attunement Rank 4 rather than stopping to fight ordinary enemies.
Enter the boss room, finish the encounter, and reset the activity.
Why the Undercity Route Feels So Quick
The attraction is simple: progress comes from movement and timing, not from wiping out every group. Before Jade Epiphany is available, run straight through the Undercity and finish the objective to earn the points needed for the node. After that, each Attunement rank becomes a small burst of progress. You will soon notice that a fast, imperfect run often beats a careful clear. Grab the orbs, avoid wasted detours, and save your strongest movement skills for the final approach.
Use Hellwyrms When the Map Cooperates
The Hellwyrm route remains the quickest option when the War Plans offer several Helltides and you can unlock Writhe and Rot. Raise the Threat meter until the last section, then stop defeating ordinary enemies. Full Threat can summon a champion and reset the progress, which interrupts the worm cycle. Follow the Hellwyrms instead. Their Plague Maggot Young provide the experience orbs you actually want. When you are ready to open chests or turn in Aberrant Cinders, switching to Penitent can add extra value without forcing you to fight at that setting for the whole run.
Choose the Pace That Suits Your Session
If pure speed is not your priority, mix Helltides, Infernal Hordes, Tree of Whispers tasks, and Kurast Undercity runs through the War Plans Command Table. The route may take closer to ninety minutes, but it leaves you with crafting materials, Legacy Uniques, and resources for Masterworking and Mythic crafting. That can make the first endgame session feel far less cramped. Whichever route you choose, sensible early upgrades and buy cheap D4 items can help your character reach Torment content with a more comfortable setup.
