PM Modi took Meeting on the Situation of Covid-19 in the Country, Shah and Rajnath was also Present
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reviewed the situation related to Kovid-19 in the country. They were given detailed information on corona outbreaks in various states and districts. During this, he was told about 12 states where there are more than 1 lakh active cases of the corona. The PM was also informed about the infrastructure of health facilities by the states.
Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, Dr. Harshvardhan, Piyush Goyal, Mansukh Mandavia, other ministers and top officials were present in the meeting. During this, he took stock of the state-wise, district-wise situation. PM Modi directed that states should be given cooperation, guidance in improving the health infrastructure. He also reviewed the progress of vaccination, the roadmap to increase vaccine production over the next few months. Prime Minister Modi reviewed the availability of medicines, asking to speed up the production of medicines including Remedisvir.
Earlier, PM Modi had said that reducing the wastage of vaccines is the most important to strengthen the war against Corona. He also praised the efforts of the Kerala government to stop the vaccine wastage by tweeting on Wednesday. In fact, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had tweeted on Tuesday that the state received 73,38,806 doses of vaccines from the central government and 74,26,164 doses were given using the additional doses available. The Chief Minister praised the health workers of the state, especially the nurses for this.
