308 Pakistani Twitter accounts Active at Farmers Protest, Tractor Rally also allowed but Farmer Leader still Unhappy
After several rounds of talks with the Delhi Police, farmers have got permission to take out a tractor rally on 26 January. The condition of the police is that the Republic Day parade will not be interrupted under any circumstances. On Sunday, Delhi Police said that the tractor rally would be taken out after the Republic Day Parade. There will also be strong security arrangements.
“The barricades and other security arrangements will be removed and the farmers will be allowed to enter the national capital and later they will return to their places after covering the distance,” the senior police officer said .
Police say the rally will be held in three parts. The first from Sindhu border and cover a distance of about 62 km. After this, Tikri border, which will cover 60 km route and will cover 46 km route originating from Ghazipur border.
Police say that about 12000 to 13000 tractors have reached various borders of Delhi. The number is 7000 to 8000 in Tikri, around 5000 in Singhu, and about 1000 on the Ghazipur border, which is expected to increase in the coming days. The police, citing information from intelligence sources, said that there may be some elements that try to spoil the atmosphere.
Police have said that on Twitter about 308 accounts have been marked, which are made in Pakistan and now they want to disturb the atmosphere in the farmers’ rally by creating confusion. Police cyber teams are constantly monitoring such social media accounts.
Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastava has issued a circular, ordering arrangements in relation to the posting of CAPF and other forces including all officers and personnel on short notice after the parade.
Giving information about the parade, the Special Commissioner said, “The rally will start from the Singhu border and Sanjay Gandhi will pass through the Transport Nagar, Kanjhawala, Bawana, Auchandi border, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and will return to the Singhu border. It will cover a distance of about 62 kilometers. Police teams have assessed these routes. “
From the Tikri border, farmers have been given the route which will pass through Nangloi, Najafgarh, Jharoda, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and then back to the Tikari border. They will also cover a distance of about 63 kilometers.
The farmer tractor rally from Ghazipur Border will pass through Apsara Border, Hapur Road Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, and will end at Ghazipur. Groups of those farmers will cover a distance of 46 kilometers.
According to the police, it is a very challenging situation. He has spoken to police officers of Haryana and UP in this regard. It has also been told that he has distributed the tractor in such a way that the entire rally will be dealt with well. The police will provide them adequate security. The United Front has assured the farmer that he will return from where he left.
United Kisan Morcha told the police on Sunday that only tractors and trolleys will participate in the march. No one will have weapons of any kind. Not even a stick. Hardly 5 people will sit on a tractor. No bonnet, bumper, or tractor will sit on top.
Those participating in the rally have also been instructed to go with them by arranging 24-hour ration, water, and cold. The farmers association has said, “Through this parade, we have to tell the country and the world about our plight… our victory is in a parade to be carried out in a very peaceful way… Our aim is not to win Delhi, but this country To win the hearts of people. “
It also states that no trucks will overtake cars, in which farmers will be the leaders. No song will play during this time. An appeal has also been made by the Kisan Ekta Morcha to not get entangled with the police and stop rumors from spreading on social media.
Significantly, despite the permission of the tractor rally by the Delhi Police on 26 January, many organizations are angry. BKU Ugran is not happy to take out a rally on the routes assigned to him. According to him, he has been told in the suggested routes that the tractor march should proceed from Tikri towards Nangloi, but according to him he cannot reach Nangloi as pandals of other organizations come in his way.
Similarly, Sukhwinder Singh Sabhra of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee says, “We feel that the kind of permission given to us for the tractor rally is not right.” We wanted to go to the old ring road, but we were given conditional permission and assigned to the part which largely belongs to Haryana. ”
All we’re saying is that we don’t want to go there, we just want to go to Ring Road. We’ll have a meeting with Police at 10 am today over this. It will then be decided where will we finally go. After the meeting, we’ll decide the time & route of the rally: Sukhwinder Singh Sabhra https://t.co/sGWOa1afMp
