Fact Check: Arvind Kejriwal Did Not Hold The Bottle Of Liquor In His Hand, Viral Photo Is Photoshopped
New Delhi : A picture is going viral on social media (Facebook). In this picture, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is seen holding a bottle of wine. This picture is being claimed that Arvind Kejriwal is drinking alcohol in the morning. We found in its investigation that this picture is fake, Arvind Kejriwal did not hold the liquor bottle in the original picture. Looking at the original picture shows that he was cleaning his house.
A page named “Paa Tii Topi ਪਾ ਤੀ ਟੋਪੀ” shares a post on social media’s Facebook platform. This post has a picture. In this picture, the Chief Minister of Delhi is seen holding a bottle of liquor, with which it is claimed that Arvind Kejriwal is drinking liquor in the morning. The description in this post is written in Punjabi language: ਸਵੇਰੇ ਕੋੜੀ ਦਵਾਈ ਪੀਕੇ ਪੇਟ ਦੇ ਮੱਛਰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ 420 ਘੁੰਘਰ ਸੇਠ 😂😂😂😂 (In English : In the morning, our Delhi owner, Mr 420 Ghumkhar Seth, smoked stomach mosquitoes.. )
We first uploaded this picture into the Google reverse image tool. From the search results, it was clear that this picture is fake. We received a tweet from Arvind Kejriwal’s official Twitter handle “@ArvindKejriwal”. This tweet was done on 8 September. In this tweet, some pictures were shared, one of which was the real picture of this fake photo. This tweet was carried out by Arvind Kejriwal’s campaign “War on Dengue”.
I have inspected my home today morning at 10 AM and replaced clean stagnant water that had accumulated for a few days. Our home is now dengue free

Conclusion: We found in investigation that this viral picture is photoshopped not original picture, Arvind Kejriwal did not hold the bottle of liquor. Looking at the original picture shows that he was cleaning his house.
