Mushaal Malik, Wife of Separatist Leader Yasin Malik Addressed a flag hoisting ceremony in Islamabad, Pakistan
On this day i.e. 14 August, the neighbouring country of Pakistan was liberated. On this occasion Mushal Malik, wife of separatist leader Yasin Malik, addressed a flag hoisting ceremony in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. The news agency ANI tweeted to the Pakistan media. Yasin has been a prominent separatist leader in Kashmir. Mushal Malik hails from Pakistan.

Yasin Malik is currently in jail in connection with terrorism funding cases. After the recent terror attack in Pulwama, the Modi government at the Center banned the Yasin-led Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF). The ban took place under the anti-terrorism law. Yasin has always been demanding separation of Kashmir. Yasin has been placed under house arrest several times.

Yasin was associated with JKLF in 1988. He then studied at Sri Pratap College. In 2009 Yasin Malik tied the knot with Mushhal Hussain of Pakistan. Yasin Malik has a daughter. Malik’s wife has studied at the London School of Economics.
