The leader of the Congress, Digvijaya Singh downplays Pulwama Terror Attack, calls it as an ‘Accident’

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh today, in a series of tweets, tried to minimize the Pulwama terrorist attack. It started with a disclaimer that we are proud of our armed forces and that we have total faith in them.

He praises the armed forces for the service they provide to protect the nation. However, he adds, after the “Pulwama accident”, reports from various foreign media about the “air strike” have created a doubt in our minds. This has made us question the credibility of the Indian government as well, he adds.

Minimizing terrorist attacks or absolving real terrorists and blaming someone with whom you disagree politically is not new to Singh. In 2010, months after the 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai, Digvijaya Singh, along with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and others released a book that claimed that the Mumbai terrorist attacks were a conspiracy of RSS. Singh not only minimizes the terrorist attack, but also attacks the Pakistani lines, since Pakistan has maintained that the only thing that destroyed the air attacks were some trees.

This, coming from a Congress leader, is ironic, to say the least. After the appalling terrorist attack against the CRPF convoy that claimed the lives of 44 soldiers, the leader of the Goa Congress requested proof of the terrorist attack since the “terrorist body” was not found. He even said that the Pulwama attack was carried out by Prime Minister Modi. The Congress that supported the abusive troll Sanjukta had also claimed that the Pulwama attack was an internal job. Thats not all. The same president of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, was caught on camera dancing just a few hours after Pulwama’s attack. Then, Congress deleted the video after it was signaled.
