Getting out of Hajin takes more planning than many players expect. Public extraction points can draw other squads, and the closest one to the spreading radiation shuts down first. Whether you're looking at MW4 Bot Lobbies or heading in with your usual squad, it's worth picking an exit before the shooting starts. Look for the door icon on your map, follow the green smoke, and call the helicopter. If another team has just used the point, you'll need to wait for it to become available again.
What happens when an Operator goes missing
A full squad wipe means your Operator goes Missing in Action. There's no plea option, and the contents of your backpack are gone. You can pay to rescue that Operator and recover purchased Traits, unused Trait Points and Dog Tag Rank, though most of the loadout won't return. The more progress you've put into the character, the more rescue costs. Starting fresh may be cheaper, but there's a catch: you can't choose the same Operator who went missing. Check the price before making the call.

Dog Tags change the trip out
Taking down a Lieutenant can earn you a Dog Tag, but picking it up puts a marker on the tactical map. That's a big decision when your team is already carrying gear it wants to keep. Other squads can track you down and take the tag from your pack, so talk through the route before someone grabs it. The supplied update notes also describe a fix for storing a disconnected teammate's tag after extraction. A PC network error involving extracted looted tags was listed as a known issue.
Give Possum time to work
Possum is a way to stay in the match, not a quick route back into the same fight. After the October 28 change, it can't be activated while the team that eliminated you is nearby, or until four minutes have passed. If you do get back up, put some distance between yourself and the fight. Regroup if you can; otherwise, find an exit. The update also addressed a black screen after a squad wipe when a teammate had Possum equipped.
Pack for the return trip
Bring a self-revive and a Med Kit when you can. Light-green Medical Clinics are useful places to look if supplies run low.
