The Reaction of Virat Kohli to Pandya-Rahul Controversy is What makes him a Great Team Leader
At a time when the comments made by Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on the talk show of actor and actor Karan Johar, ‘Koffee With Karan’ became one of the most trivial topics, many people wondered What the Indian captain, VIrat Kohli, had to say about the whole thing.
After the 24-hour warning for the Cause, issued by the BCCI during which Pandya and Rahul were ordered to present their justifications for the duo’s indecent comments in the chat program, both cricketers were banned by two ODI matches as the recommendations made by the Chairman of the Administration Committee, Vinod Rai.
In the latter case, the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, who had kept himself completely aloof from the whole affair, finally spoke on behalf of the entire team.
“We, definitely, as the Indian cricket team do not support such views and that has been communicated,” Kohli said in media coverage at the Sydney Cricket Ground before the three-game series ODI against Australia. “I can definitely say that, like the Indian cricket team and the responsible cricket players, we do not align ourselves with those views and are purely individual points of view.”
But the additional comments made by Kohli are what make him a great team leader. In an atmosphere of high tension where everyone is embarrassing Pandya and Rahul, Virat, while showing his disagreement with his comments, did not abandon them.
“… the two concerned players felt what went wrong and understood the magnitude of what happened,” Kohli did not forget to mention. “Definitely, he has to hit anyone hard, they will definitely understand things that have not gone well.”
Kohli’s opinion on the whole subject says a lot about his evolution as a conscious captain. He feels responsible for his team both on and off the field and has been with them at the most difficult times.

Consecutively, the absence of the two highly talented cricketers, especially the off-roader in Hardik Pandya, will leave a deep void in the list, which will be a real task for the team.
Meanwhile, Hotstar, the mobile application that transmits the program of Karan Johar, has eliminated the episode that presents the annoying cricketing duo.
