Instagram Will Enter To World of E-commerce Business, Threatening Amazon and Alibaba
Currently Amazon has a umbrella state in online business, but it can be threatened by the presence of approximately one million global user Instagram. The new chief of the Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has said that he has this plan. Speaking on the company’s further strategy from an English newspaper in its first public interview after assuming office in October last, Mosseri said that his plan for the company is to add a large number of shopkeepers, vendors and Instagram users.

According to the news agency Efe, the basic aspect of the acquisition of Facebook’s photo sharing platform, Mosseri, in which users display their uploaded photos to other users – have to be behind and convert it into a sales portal. Although in proportion, the share of global purchases is very small, but the e-commerce business is increasing and the digital commerce 360 is expected to increase its global sales to 2.86 trillion (2860 billion) in 2018.

At present, there are few companies in this area, including China’s Alibaba and Jedi.com and American companies are Amazon, eBay and Walmart. The photo sharing app however started pilot program of direct sales in March but it was limited to just 20 brands. These brands include Zara, Barberi, Michelle Course, Nike, Adidas, Prada, Unicello, Deor, Oscar de la Renta and H & M etc. Payment is done using PayPal technology.
