Bank Opening and Closing Time will change from September Month, This Will be New Timing
New Delhi: Even today whenever people have to do any work of their bank, either they have to take leave of their office or they have to go to office late. This is because most government banks open only at 10 o’clock and by 10 o’clock, most people have to reach their offices. But now we are going to get rid of this mess. In fact, the banking division of the Union Finance Ministry has proposed to open all government and regional rural banks at 9 am. This new timing will be applicable from September.
According to a news published in the Times of India, this decision has been taken so that the opening hours of all banks across the country are the same. In the month of June, a meeting was also held on this issue of the banking division through video conferencing. Only after this meeting, it was decided that the branch of the bank should be opened according to the convenience of the customers.
In the meeting of the subcommittee constituted for customer convenience, the Indian Banking Association has made three proposals regarding the timing of banks, the first from 9 am to 3 pm, the second from 10 am to 4 pm. Till and third from 11 am to 5 pm.
Banks can take their decision in this regard with the State Level Bankers Committee. It is believed that the new timing of banks may be implemented from the month of September, although no official announcement has been made in this regard yet.
