According to the  Times of India Oppo’s name after jurisdiction of West Indies In March 2017, Oppo had received these rights for Rs 1079 crore for five years. But the company has decided to leave it after about two and a half years. According to sources, the BCCI will not initiate any auction process for this, but the Oppo has given itself to these writers by Byju. It is being said that Oppo is feeling that it has spent more money than needed for it.

There will be no loss to the BCCI. The remaining money will now be taken from Baiju. The Oppo had to pay BCCI 4.6 million for every match of the biolatral series. However, for the ICC and Asia Cup matches, the company had to pay 1.92 crore rupees in every match to BCCI. That is, now the money will be given to Baiju. Earlier, for the name on Star India jersey, the BCCI was given only 1.92 crores for the match of the Biolatral Series. Apart from this, Star had to pay only 61 lakhs for the ICC and the Asia Cup.
