Saandh Ki Aankh :Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Padnekar as ‘dadis’ Unveil First Look
The first Look of Bhumi Pednekar-Taapsee Pannu Saand Ki Aankh has been presented and presents them as “daadis” wrinkled 60 years. The film is inspired by real-life shooters Chandro Tomar and his sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar from Uttar Pradesh, who are also known as ‘shooting dadis’.
Bhumi moved to Instagram to share the first poster of the film and wrote: “Open the way to the daddies, by bringing him one of my most challenging roles in one of the most inspiring stories …
Taapsee also shared the same poster and wrote: “They challenged their age, fought their way and rose to fame in the shooting game.”
You see the two actresses wearing shirts and ghagras with pistols in their hands.
The original chandro of ‘shooter dadis’, 87 years old, and Prakashi, 82 years old, are the oldest female pistol shooters in the world.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Saand Ki Aankh also features Prakash Jha and Vicky Kadian in important roles. The movie is ready for a Diwali release this year.
