Sonam Kapoor said that it is important for a person to be financially independent. Parents should give respect and freedom to their children. On the radio show, Sonam shared his views on economic independence and told how his father actor Anil Kapoor gave him wings.
Sonam said, when I was financially independent at the age of 18, but like many Indian children I used to live with my parents. Apart from this, I was always given the freedom of that type where you have to make your own decisions. Father always tells me about the decisions of my life, and if the decision is wrong then he teaches me, explain. They never blame anyone.

Sonam said that my father says that I have given you such a raise that you always take the right decision. I understand that this kind of respect and freedom should be given to each child by their parents.
