Sachin Bansal Invests in Non-Banking Companies Altico and IndoStar

Sachin Bansal, the co-founder of Flipkart, has invested around 250 million rupees in each of the non-bank financial companies that include Indostar and Altico, according to the report that has been revealed.

He said that it is about the investment in debt that was made with the recently invested Binny Sachin.

This news was revealed only a few days after the co-founder of Flipkart placed around 650 million rupees on the Ola platform, which transits the passengers. Bansal has also collected an estimated valuation of around $ 1 trillion.

Sachin Bansal also met with some of the Reserve Bank of Indian executives to determine the regulatory needs to be eligible to start a bank.

“Given the role that financial services play in the economy, it is one of the options we are considering, it is a business area that we are exploring,” Bansal said in an e-mail response to ET at that time. Although Bansal has been an active investor in new local businesses since 2014, those investments were generally at an early stage of $ 1-2 million. Since then, he has made around 18 investments, including Gray Orange, Inshorts, Unacademy and TeamIndus, among others.
