Pulwama Attack: Pakistan’s Prime Minister says that India is Blaming Islamabad without any Evidence

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Tuesday that New Delhi blamed Islamabad for the Pulwama attack without any evidence, ANI reported. “We are interested in nobody from our soil spreading violence,” he added.

“I would like to make an offer to the government of India,” Khan said according to Dawn. “If you have actionable evidence, share it with us. We will take measures. Not because we are under pressure, but because it is our policy. ”

Forty members of the Central Reserve Police Force died in the attack on February 14. The extremist group Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for the attack.

“Pakistan is the country that is the biggest victim of terrorism,” Khan said according to Times Now. “More than 70,000 Pakistanis have died in terrorist attacks.”

“There needs to be new thinking in India,” he added. “India needs introspection about Kashmir, do you think this is a one-dimensional problem? One-dimensional oppression of people will never succeed.”

“I see people in India saying that Pakistan must be attacked, destroyed,” said the Pakistani prime minister. “What international law allows a country to be judge, jury and executioner? If you think you can attack Pakistan in any way, we will retaliate. We will have no choice but to do so. ”

“We all know that starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will take us, only God knows,” Khan said. “This problem must be resolved through dialogue.”

The Pakistani prime minister said he wanted to respond to the attack immediately, but was arrested due to the visit of crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman. “We had an investment conference where we had been preparing for a long time,” he added. “That’s why I’m responding, now that the crown prince is gone.”

Last week, India withdrew the most-favored-nation status it had granted to Pakistan, and stopped bus service and commerce through the Line of Control. The Indian government has said it will work to isolate Pakistan globally.
