CONFIRMED! Shraddha Kapoor to Reunite with ABCD 2 star Varun Dhawan in this Remo D’Souza film
Last week we reported that the cast of the protagonist of Varun Dhawan Street Dancer, which is being directed by Remo Dsouza, had undergone a casting change. In fact, after Katrina Kaif had retired from the dance film, we had reported that the creators of the film had tied Shraddha Kapoor. Speaking about the company, the producer of Street Dancer and the director of the series T, Bhushan Kumar, reveals that the plan is to make the largest dance film in India in 3D. “The audience has already seen the chemistry of Varun and Shraddha, now, Remo will redefine Dance for our audience,” he promises, happy to form a team with his Aashiqui 2, Saaho and the protagonist of Saina. Readers would know that Katrina Kaif was initially incorporated as the protagonist of this big-budget movie. However, the actress had to give up the same due to the clash of date with her other film, Salman star Khan Bharat. The latter has already gone to the floor and is in the final stage. Considering the departure of Kaif, Remo was on a search for a new protagonist and is now happy to meet with her ABCD boss, Shraddha Kapoor.
Co-produced by Remo’s wife, Lizelle, along with Bhushan Kumar, the film will feature Varun Dhawan in the role of a Punjabi boy raised in London. The film will also feature dancers Shakti Mohan and Vartika Jha, along with some international dancers. A short program of some scenes and a song in Punjab will be recorded, but the rest of the extensive part of the film will be filmed in the United Kingdom. The team is expected to take off to foreign shores in the coming months, while the Punjab calendar will begin this month.
