Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi
The very fact that this project has had to go through a journey of struggle almost as huge as the one undertaken by the Queen of Jhansi, makes it an interesting project. With two directors, Krish Jagarlamudi and, ahem, Kangana Ranaut, the film could well be more hysterical than historical, but it’s still worth the wait. Release date: January 25.
Super 30
The world-renowned mathematician of Bihar, Anand Kumar, will be played by Hrithik Roshan in his first real-life project. We can only hope that Krrish does not do it with the well-known math assistant. Release date: To be announced.
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga
Newcomer director Shelley Chopra Dhar brings together father Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja for the first time. I am already a game. Release date February 1.
Sonchiriya
The true and authentic drama of the director Abhishek Choubey takes us away from the dramatic dacoit dramas in a credible vision of the violence in the Chambal valley. This would be an interesting departure from the formula for the historical genre of dacoit films. Sushant Singh Rajput will face Manoj Bajpai for the first time. Bajpai is not exhausted. But we hope to be dazzled. Release date: February 8.

The trippy story of street rappers Zoya Akhtar brings together Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt for the first time. Do you need something more to say? Release date: February 14.

Akshay Kumar returns this time to play Havaldar Ishar Singh in the Battle of Saragarhi. The history of unspeakable courage and patriotism will connect viscerally with each Indian. This period drama directed by Anurag Singh brings Parineeti Chopra as the daughter of Akshay. Release date March 21.
Bharat
Ali Abbas Zafar directs Salman Khan in a film that traces the life of an ordinary Indian from 1947 to the present. It remains to be seen if Salman makes history this time. Release date: Eid.
Batla House
Recreating Batla House’s terrorist encounter in 2018, director Nikhil Advani has recently converted patriotic patriot, John Abraham, who tries a movie out of the box. Release date: August 15.
