Jeff Bezos Warns That Amazon Will Go Bankrupt One Day And Tells Employees To Be Prepared

Amazon is one of the richest companies in the world and is now expanding its headquarters to two other cities in the United States. However, founder Jeff Bezos had a meeting with his employees where they asked him difficult questions about the future of the company.

An employee wanted to know more about Amazon’s address and Bezos gave an answer that he considers possible. Bezos responded: “Amazon is not too big to fail, in fact, I predict that one day Amazon will fail, Amazon will go bankrupt, if you look at big companies, their lives tend to be more than 30 years, not more than a hundred years, “Bezos said. CNBC reported the conversation after listening to a recording of the meeting.

He added that the goal of everyone at Amazon is “to prolong that disappearance.” He suggested that this can be achieved by “obsessing with customers.” He continued adding that “If we start to focus on ourselves, instead of focusing on our customers, that will be the beginning of the end, we have to try and delay that day as long as possible,” he said.

Amazon has been expanding the business and the success of the company at an unprecedented pace. The main retail business continues to grow; however, the company’s main source of income is its dominant position in cloud computing, that is, Amazon Web Services.

Amazon’s workforce has grown to more than 600,000 employees in the last eight years and the rise in the stock price has turned it into a trillion dollar company. Last month, a report suggests that Amazon raised the minimum wage for all employees, putting the company one step ahead of rivals such as Target, Walmart and others.
